The Product Story

In July 2024, my husband and I embarked on a two-week honeymoon to Japan. While there, I was deeply inspired by the minimalist aesthetic, eco-friendly materials, and popular neutral color palette that define Japanese design. During the last leg of our trip, we stayed at the stunning Hoshinoya Resort in Okinawa, known for its fusion of traditional Ryukyu minimalism and modern luxury.

This experience sparked a strong desire to try and replicate that same sense of calm and sophistication in my own home. So like most organizers, I started with my closet. Inspired by Japandi design—a style that seamlessly blends Japanese minimalism with Scandinavian functionality and is often featured in Architectural Digest—I wanted to create hangers that reminded me of the elegance and calm of the Hoshinoya.
